In short, it seems that Trump has committed political suicide. Several factors have contributed to his future demise.
- He has so offended the Republican Establishment that they will stop at nothing to destroy his candidacy.
- His crude language, incivility and arrogance have caused his approval ratings to swirl down the drain of public opinion.
- He has displayed a painful lack of specificity in defining his foreign policy, domestic policy, military policy or economic policy. Who knows how he expects to make America great again?
- He claims to be well-educated and intelligent. I suppose he had the opportunity to be well-educated. He obtained a degree from an Ivy League university, still; that does not necessarily mean that he learned anything in particular. He offers no evidence, at least to me, of being an intellectual. He is not a logician, an analytical or critical thinker. He is a bully and a reactionary. Bluster does not equal intelligence.
- He cannot beat Hilary Clinton.
I won't be voting for Donald Trump. I won't be voting for Ted Cruz either, but for different reasons.
- He has the personality of a door knob
- He seems to me to be disingenuous.
- He isn't respected or liked by most of the Senate. Can they all be wrong about him?
- After many years in Criminal Justice I have, I think, some ability to spot a phony.
- He seems to have accepted the advice of Machiavelli in the Prince.
- He cannot beat Hilary Clinton
Given the opportunity I will vote for Kasich.
- He is experienced.
- He has articulated his foreign, economic, domestic and military policies.
- He does not appear to be disingenuous.
- He is well spoken and articulate.
- He could win over Hilary Clinton.
Hey Jim! Hope all is well. Have not heard from you since April. A lot has gone by and was wondering where you stand with the election? Can you select none of the above?

I agree, except I do believe that Paul Ryan will be nominated in Cleveland. He stated he was not interested in becoming Speaker of the House. He is now the Speaker of the House. He is claiming he is not interested in becoming the Republican nominee. I believe he will be nominated and he will accept.
Cruz is being supported only to insure a contested nomination and when Trump comes up short in delegates, Ryan will surface to the top. Kasich is being used to take away delegates from Trump to help insure a contested nomination. The folks that actually call the shots for the Republican party do not want Ted or Kasich as their candidate.
The X factor is a 3rd party nominee named Trump, Sanders or whoever is behind door 3. There is really only one loser after the smoke clears...the American voters. And please don't forget which party brought Sarah Palin to the dance! FUBAR!
